Hi! I’m Kirsten. I’m a primary school teacher, currently studying a Master of Education in teacher-librarianship.
My pop culture influences are many and varied, although most likely very different from those of the students I work with! I love to read (a major influence on my decision to become a teacher-librarian), and I enjoy science fiction and fantasy in books, television and movies.

Hi Kirsten. Looking forward to working with you on this blog project. I too like science fiction and fantasy. Lately, I’ve been devouring dystopian literature – there’s so much of it around at the moment.
I’ve read some great dystopian stuff – recently I devoured the ‘Wool’ series by Hugh Howey – have you read any of his books?
